RY_VW I left them on, easy enough to apply and sealed the edges with a little help from my heat gun

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Started changing my Mk4 Caddy headlights to Xenon OEM units.
First step was a right pain - Cutting the wiring loom tape back so that the plugs stretch to the new position on the Xenon units.
Took ages and much swearing - didn't quite cut through any wires !
I'll have to re-wrap when I get some of that Scapa Rayon loom tape stuff - OEM Stylee (thanks TommyZoom and all)
Taking off the bumper wasn't too bad - The hidden screw was OK given the hints on how to find it in the How To
Pops off nicely but I bet it is a bit more trouble going the other way.
Coded in using Docs guide and OBDEleven, and then fitted in headlight units easily enough.
Right Pain #2 - Trying to get the beams aligned.
I had marked out the beam patterns on the garage door with some masking tape.
Changed one headlight at a time so that I could see the original LH alignment vs new RH headlight.
There must be an easy way, but it took me ages to get it almost OK for the RH unit.
Next LH Unit ... Sticks out at the back corner and still never gets to point to the right spot still pointing left a bit too much for my liking, compared to the original units.
I guess I will have to get my garage man to have a go ...
Tomorrow : Get the bumper back on !
...Hopefully

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Installed new Pioneer headunit and wired up a reversing camera. The unit is CarPlay so ran the wire up into my armrest to keep any cables out of view!
