Van is looking good! The rear of the centre console can be a nice place to put some extra sockets, USB's or power outlet etc. Just an idea.. I changed my cup holder to extra sockets as the cup holder was broken!Image

Van is booked in to the body shop for some paint in a couple of weeks along with this cracking custom bumper. Big thanks to Stu @Barbel330 for the outstanding work on this. The main bumper section is to be coded to Candy White, and the grill inserts and splitter will be painter in Panther Black (pearlescent Audi colour). Some of the other plastics on the van will be painted Panther Black in the future, such as the mirror covers for the mk4 power folding wing mirrors and the pillar trims.Image

Ollie’s Caddy build

Got the van back after a spruce up from the body shop. Was surprised to find how much shite bodywork the van had done prior to me owning it. Had some of this rectified but haven’t gone too mad. Also got the door handles colour coded, rear badge painted and the new bumper sprayed. This won’t be installed until my fog light loom arrives. The rear badge was painted in Panther Black along with all the new grill sections, front badge and splitter. I was really inspired when I collected Stu’s bumper, by the gorgeous blackberry pearl colour. Getting the van resprayed is not cost effective for me, so I will be tarting up all the black plastics with Panther Black. Image

The suedeing has begun. A + B pillars trimmed and fitted today, really pleased with the overall quality. Went for charcoal with a copper orange stitch. A pillars were a bit of a pig to trim and also to refit. I have an armrest cover, handbrake cover and gear gaiter still to install. Definitely need to replace the seat belt covers/ buckles (whatever they are called) with black ones. I now I’ve got some suede I think I want more!Image

I’m by no means a trimmer but quite pleased with the finish.

Been waiting a while for a Touran centre console in good condition, and finally one came up at a good price.
Hi... what year model did you get this from... I’m also in need of a Centre armrest

@ Bhaijee Hello mate 2008 I think. Anything with the part number beginning 1T....... is compatible I think. The 5T..... is not

@Papabear cheers buddy, suede looks more reddish in the pictures. But I think it’s the perfect accent in between the grey carpet in the rear and the anthracite plastics good to know thanks, although think I’m going to go down the OEM root for the fixings.

Was thinking the same which is why I got black grab straps but wasn’t keen on all the black bits with anthracite trims so painted everything, except the straps as it wouldn’t have lasted
