So got my fog lights fitted, got a full service and a new set of German style plates done in the past few days
Next job will be to fit touran bases and seats for Abit more comfort, so anyone that knows anyone that has a set left me know

Re: What did you do to your van today?
I fitted the mist type water jets off of my Seat Ateca onto the mk4 it was a straight swap and works so much better than the spray lines
Also fitted a Left hand drive rear passenger side light to curb my ocd, now both the reverse lights match up
Will probably move and attach the rear fog onto the bumper reflector

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Went to glue my rear spoiler edge back down, only to discover the whole spoiler was being held on by gravity, eek!
Sealant was still stuck to van, however it had peeled away from the spoiler because I’d sprayed the underneath when doing it, doh!
Lesson learned...

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Annual service and an air con leak test to be told it's the condenser, oh well id rather have cold air than drive around in a metal sweat box when the sun's out. Was also quite surprised to find the service didn't include an air filter or cabin filter, so off to euro car parts to get them.

So much! And all in the sun, being ginger I obviously now look like a swan vesta.
Did passenger touran base, pressure washed the passenger seat, changed a light cluster, cleaned the touran carpets I picked up yesterday and then decided to fit stalks ready for trip comp and cruise. I need a cider now.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Today I removed the DPF to "clean" it out and also removed the turbo for a clean. Found the turbo to have so much wobble it was touching the housing! so I bought a new turbo cartridge rather than a recon unit.

Not actually that bad of a job to do as long as everything comes loose and doesn't break off. Had to drop the sub frame to get the DPF out but didn't have to fully remove it which made things easier.
As long as you have the right tools it's not actually that bad.

Do you have a link for the washer jets you fitted? Never realised there was so many!Jay1182 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 11:32 am I fitted the mist type water jets off of my Seat Ateca onto the mk4 it was a straight swap and works so much better than the spray lines
