Help - window conversion coding
Hi, I have fitted the parts from a touran straight to the caddy!
Window regulators and motors, looms and door cards.
Ran the 12v feed from fusebox.
I just need to code them now. Does anybody know the long code so I can get these babies working??
I'll be forever grateful!
Thanks

Re: Help - window conversion coding
If everything is matched correctly, as in from the same donor vehicle, there should be no need for coding.

Re: Help - window conversion coding
I've never had to replace the convenience module and don't believe I've ever heard of anyone having to.

Re: Help - window conversion coding
i managed to get the windows working by repinning the t28 grey connector, for the windows there is a brown earth, and two feeds for the windows and illumination feed

Re: Help - window conversion coding
Hey Danny, I'm confident the 12v feed is wired correctly and that my door harnesses are correct also! It's being taken for coding today so should be all good!
Thanks anyway

Re: Help - window conversion coding
Not working yet! They've been coded, but I believe I have either the wrong motors or they're faulty!
I could do with reading values of the door modules to see if they're seeing the switch operation first, but I dont have diagnostic equipment that can perform live values!

Re: Help - window conversion coding
I have only just seen this.. the grey T28 connector in the A pillar? I fitted a 12v feed from the fusebox to the interior T28 connector, now I have my live and earth at the door module! Is there still something else that's needs to be done?danny6000xtr wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 2:28 pm i managed to get the windows working by repinning the t28 grey connector, for the windows there is a brown earth, and two feeds for the windows and illumination feed

Re: Help - window conversion coding
the connector i repinned was the connector from switches to motor, the way i found out is earthed few of the pins one by one and i found out the windows went down. i see if i can get a pin out for you
