Re: What did you do to your van today?
Picked up my Caddy yesterday after the water tank that was inside was "drained" and removed... I wasn't aware the tank was mostly drained into the passenger rear footwell which then soaked and splashed into the front footwell and soaked the underlay...
Gave me a good excuse to give it a deep clean though!

Replaced one dodgy led in heater controls, wired in the 2 wires on the back for heated seat control while there.
Took passenger door panel off to retrieve the broken window switch. Made up switch for internal tailgate release.
All before 9:30. That’s me done for the day

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Whats the wiring like for fitment? I'm guessing a Touran loom/switches will work?
Last time I looked at heated seats, it was for a Mk4 Golf and seemed a bit complex without a custom retro-fit loom.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
@acalamita, the heater controls you need to find the same style as the ones you have but that have seat buttons.
Wiring is dependent on the seats. Removing a loom from another car would be a nightmare. If the seats are from anything other than most vw, you need a module from a vw to control them.
Looms can be made to suit your needs, Stan the man is the man

Great pictures there Dickiefree. That sunset looks special.
I’ve done sod all to my van for a long time, so this is about the only contribution I have to make to this thread at the moment.
