Same as j13ayt, getting rid of the cream trims and headlining. Took time on a maxi life but worth it.
Worst, drl bulbs, replaced 3 times now. Shonky ebay seller. Sent them back and they are supposedly testing them but now they can’t find them.
I know it’s a small thing but every penny counts to us.
Ok rant over

Best mod - air con by far, of course it needed a new dash, carpets, etc to go with it

Worst mod (so far) - lowering my van myself end of day 2, 2 drop links cut out, 1 snapped bolt on the sub frame, 3 top suspension bolts cut out and day 3 tomorrow keep telling myself it’ll all be worth it in the end

DeanWhit, I second that rear seat conversation by far the best mod done to my van.
Now remapped to 145 BHP

Best Mod - getting the seat conversion done, by a country mile. Being able to use the van with the family is great.
Hey Dean! Did you do this yourself or did you pay someone to have it done? It's on my list of things to do next

Best and worst is the same mod.... Lowering it!! Looks so sick lowered, but now I've gotta slow down for speed bumps and avoid pot holes!

Best - Short Shift, just because I love it
Worst - Chrome Bumper Inserts off eBay, only lasted half a winter before they were pitted
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is

Does the short shift tighten up the throw a bit? I find my caddy is a bit stirring soup some times...
Do you have a link to the part?
Easy to change?

@Grantek yes it has improved the shift massively but it’s still not notchy, probably because it still has the OEM counter weight. l also fitted new 42DD bushes from Awesome and they have tightened it up no end
No link For the shifter I’m afraid it’s from Shorty’s Short Shifters in Canada (via Facebook) but I think he has stopped doing them now. It would be easy enough to do your own though just move the pin nearer the pivot and fit a new relay lever. You must get the right one for your ‘box though as 5 & 6 speed are completely different
It was really easy to change once I’d removed the air box, I just had to drill out one of the cable housings (relay I think) as the cable was slightly too long and causing a bit of tension

Best mod by far is the remap! Worst mod is an aftermarket arm rest that I didn’t even bother fitting!

It was an eBay special that I bought before I picked up the van.. and before I discovered this forum. Lesson learned. I’m yet to buy a replacement, but it’s either an Armster or Touran one!
