rear barn door spoilers
I'm after a rear spoiler for my barn door caddy, some look weird from what I've been looking at is there different types available or is it one style for the job?

Re: rear barn door spoilers
There are a few aftermarket rear spoilers out there for sale. I think most of us on here who have rear barn door spoilers have gone down the genuine VW route which was originally fitted to the Sportline models.

Van Style do genuine ones or copy. To be fair the copy one is good quality and comes with the bolts and seals and template and a good price too.
Hardest part was to drill out the upper inner door so that you can get the nut on the rear of the bolt. I then used a rubber grommet to stop water ingress.

Sticking them on is probably the best way to go.

Sticking or bonding? Lol. Each and everyone to there own mate. I’ve fitted both genuine and copy and there was no difference. It was easy enough to do.

I bought one for mine from Travelin-Lite. Really impressed with the quality of it. My mate who's got a body shop is painting it while colour coding the van for me. He said he'll bond it on using the same stuff they use to fit windscreens. He's done quite a few and they seem to look good once all done. Much easier than drilling the doors etc. No worries about water getting inside and corroding stuff then too.
