Apologies if this is a duplicate topic but I haven't seen it recently. The vans were organised by Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions and they keep records of the service history. I phoned them this morning and they couldn't be more helpful. Girl was working from home so emailed me a screenshot of the history while I was on the phone. Was reassured to see that all services done on time and new tyres/brake pads/discs etc fitted whenever part worn. Brake fluid change also carried out on time which was good to see.

Hi mate, welcome to the forum. BG tend not to bother changing timing belts on those fleet. An ex mechanic of theirs told me that, so it may be advisable to get it done if it’s old enough or done enough miles.

Mine came with a printout with all the work done while BG had it, including timing belt.
Only worrying part was the work was done by Halfords and Royal Mail

Thanks for the welcome the swan fiend :-)
There's no mention about the timing belt on the service print out so - yeh I plan to get the timing belt & water pump changed as the van is coming up for 5 years old (although it's only done 34k miles). I've changed these myself in the past on previous cars but getting too old n stiff to be crawling about nowadays lol. In any case, I'm sure the warranty states that it has to be done by a VAT registered garage.

Yeah, the vat registers bit is normally the case. Sounds like a nice low miler you’ve bagged there. Good find

Re: ex British Gas Caddy Service History
My recently bought ex scot gas caddy came with a printout of work history. Only seem to have major works included such as cam belt and also MOT work. Did anyones printout from Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions have info on services or is what I got best I can hope for?
