Re: Mercedes Vito vs caddy
I used to have a Vito before the caddy.
You need to buy one that’s 2011 onwards or expect rust.

I was going to get a Vito years ago but was put off when my local garage said to change the heater plugs the engine had to come out. Painful and expensive to work on I was told so got a t4 instead, had vw vans since.

Re: Mercedes Vito vs caddy
Had both, 2 x lwb Vitos,& 2 x Caddys,both great vans,but drive totally different,& do different jobs,its a bit like comparing a Fiesta with a John Deere tractor.. Build quality is about the same,both german..As Is say both V good,Last Vito I had from 15ooo miles sold it with 95k on,its was a heavily modified 115 (150bhp)& I loved it,it would do 130mph & 30mpg.
