Re: My EX BG 1.6L 194bhp Caddy build
Hi Harry
Thank you for taking the time to read through my build thread.
I found a CR170 turbo of a 2.0L golf on eBay.
I then sent it off to a company called K.R.S Turbos to have it reconditioned and made in to a hybrid which can produce 240bhp on a 1.6.
But at the moment I’m only at 194 at the moment.

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
Why the extra feed? Surely you just cut the cigarette lighter cables and wire the USB charger up?Sean1066 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 8:51 pm Hi Glen
There’s not to much involved in fitting a USB.
I fitted it in about an hour. There is a how to thread on fitting to a fuse box

@lain
I’m sure it would of been perfect if it worked but mine didn’t and I tried all the fuse and still couldn’t find the right one so for me it was easier to run a new wires and add dash cam and a shark fin at the same time.

It’s interesting. Did the cigarette lighter work before you changed it?
On the touran dash conversion, I noticed you changed the ducts. What else needs to change?
Cracking build!

Thank you
As for the the touran dash I had to change the ducts and all the mounting brackets.
Yeah the cigarette lighter did work.

Finally got my exhaust done today.
I think it’s looks pretty good. I will get a better photo in the day light of the back end

Thanks sands.
It’s taken almost a year to get the exhaust done.
It was worth the wait I think
