Let the build begin
Puddle lights installed today
Cheap and cheerful template made from thick paper and sellotape to outline the cutout, quick dremel later...
LED’s bonded in, wired up and coded...
And after waiting for a few hours for the “sun” to go down...
All done following the fantastic, easy to follow guide in the “how to” section

Re: Let the build begin
No no no it’s not going on the list!
Well it might but need to get rid of the dumbo ears first
And no work being done to the Caddy for a while as all our time and money are going on house renovations.
Looking great on yours

Papa Bear aaaahahaha.... great to hear from you!
Get it on the list! You know you want too! You can get them in blue too!
You could fit it in between coats of paint!
However, on a serious note, house first, then Caddy, leaving you lots of time to build your mod list up

Puddle lights look great mate
What car are they from? I’m assuming they need coding in too?

Re: Let the build begin
the swan fiend cheers!
I bought these from EBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-LED-Side ... 2749.l2649
Cheap at £10.99 although I did have to make up the small wiring loom to the door module. I didn’t want to spend the money on the golf ones as I didn’t know if my modules would support the puddle lights, however all’s good so I think I’ll keep them.
I removed the black plastic covers from them to make them low profile and sealed the electronics with bonding/sealer before bonding them into the mirrors.
Worked first time too, after coding of course!

Caddypeter Awesome! You’ll need to get a build thread going and get some pictures uploaded or upload to the “what did you do to your van today” thread!

Re: Let the build begin
It’s best to start your own build thread. There is also a thread on posting photos which might help you
