Bought the stance plus coilovers and rear lowering kit and had the kit fitted. I had it lowered 60mm. I’m happy with the stance and the ride. It surprising how much difference it makes to the look of it.

I bought some red LED’s to fit into the door handles and door storage along with the coin tray.
I spliced into the electric window switches for the illumination, Pin 1 ground Pin 2 live.
For the coin tray I spliced into the hazard switch using Pin 1 ground and Pin 3 for live. (I did look at using the heater controls but couldn’t figure out which was the illumination).if anyone knows the wires to splice into from the radio or heater controls for illumination I’d appreciate it.
With the hazard light the ambient light flashes with the hazard lights when switched on. No real issue for me though.
All the ambient lights dim with the dimmer.
I may diffuse the led’s but at the moment I can live with them.

I don’t know if this setup would suit a life due to battery being in the rear footwell.

Many thanks for the info I'll be tackling the seats over Christmas and putting in wires ready to sort leisure battery at a later stage

Looks good mate! Do you get any scraping due to lowering with the pod system in back fully loaded etc? Plan to do similar to yourself but all mountain/b roads could be hassle if too low

Not too bad so far, you do need to slow down more for speed bumps but so far so good. With the coilovers I can raise it if I need same with the rear

Fitted the sliding door windows today. Was a lot easier than I expected. I bought the glass from camperglass.co.uk 80% dyed glass. You have to be really close to the window to see inside.
I’m thinking of buying the rear side window glass to match.
To fit I used a hole saw on the corner from the inside, drilled a smaller hole each end of the straights and from the outside masked up and marked a straight line between the smaller holes and cut with jigsaw and metal blade on the outside, then cut around the corners. Sealed the cut edges with rust protector and used a pliers to pull the outer skin and inner skin together and knocked on the rubber trim. After that just primed the edge of the body and windows and ran the adhesive around the body and fitted glass.
Took roughly 1 hour for each window.

Fitted the puddle lights thanks to the guide in the how to section and tommyzoom looms, also fitted a couple of clips on the door card that broke off when fitting the ambient lights.I fitted the VanX window curtains on the new windows in the side doors. Very happy with them and easy to fit.
Rain light sensor has arrived just waiting for the trim to arrive and will be attempting that once it does.
Ordered a rear view mirror monitor that will hopefully fit onto the mirror mount if I have ordered the right one. Getting to the point where I’m happy with the van and going to stop myself with mods for a while and just enjoy the van.

This looks great can I ask where you wired the wiring from the battery through to the rear?
Got a 15 plate same as yours .
Cheers, Lew

Thanks Lew, there’s a grommet under the scuttle panel that I used to get the cable through to the passenger side of the glovebox and routed the cable under the sill plastics and through to the under seat area. From memory it’s the upper grommet that I used closest to the screen I just used some fibreglass rods to fish the cable through and it popped out to the side of the glovebox.
The wiring from the leisure battery goes though the lower trim on the sides through to the rear of the van.

I’m glad I started a build thread, it’s good to look back and see what’s been done.
