Nice job on the footwell lights there Pete.
Where about did you fix them as I’ve still got mine to do just not had the time to get round to doing them yet.

Swan’s caddy build

Post by the swan fiend »

Cheers Sean.
I fitted them to the side pods that sit in front of the centre console. They illuminate the footwells pretty good from there.
Only downside is the clutch pedal casts a bit of a shadow.
The only way I can think of curing that is a DSG swap

Cheers Ste. Yeah door handle illumination is on the list
I wasn’t sure where else to put it to be honest. I’ve ordered a red one too, and I’ve no idea where to put that either

Not exactly a mod as such, but I decided to put the stickers that came with my hoodie and t shirt on the van. Image
The other side looks the same as this one above.
Image
And the back......Image
Key tag on the dashboard. Replaced the slightly naff looking r line badge I’d stuck on. This looks much better IMO.
Image
There is now a total of 9 stickers and 2 key tags on the van.......just incase someone isn’t sure what forum I’m part of ImageImage

It’s a pleasure mate. I love this forum! It’s given me so much help and enjoyment over the years I’ve been here. If I’d paid people to do the work that I’ve done myself with the help of this forum, I’d have spent way more than I have already.
I will support it in any way that I can mate.
