That should feel a lot tighter now mate.
You got a bargain on the wheels. They’d normally charge more than that just for the tyres.

Trying the new wheels later today, will see how she rides compared to the 19's

You’ll probably notice an increase in comfort mate. Once my Tyree have had it (which will be a while) I’m thinking of going to 18s.

I’ve taken off the 19’s, and fitted my 18” Audi wheels, and ummm Image I’m not sure ? I’ve got some slight rubbing on the rear, it’s the flat of the tyres on the inner wheel arches, no real problem as such, and there was already signs of previous rubbing there anyway

Not sure about the colour of them mate. If they were all silver, I think they’d look much better. How’s the ride quality?

Yes Pete, not sure what to do with them, may get them painted when she goes in for arches fitted, but ride is nice 👍
There’s loads of meat on them 245’s but not spending money to go down to 235, maybe when they’re at 3mm 😂😂😂

Thought you’d feel a difference. A few lads have gone from 19 to 18s. Yeah I’d keep them till they’re used mate.....more money for another mod!

I think a drug habit would be cheaper for some!

Noticed a big difference in comfort going down to and 18 from a 19 compromise over looks but as it’s my daily and have to used absolutely battered country roads it’s much better. Would have thought the rubbing is only down to the 245 profile bud, as you probably already know

Hi @Guy94
My mate has a few old scrappers out back, and may ‘rescue’ some inner arches material. I think I’m going to do a bit of surgery under there and a little bit of plastic welding to fettle it 😉 😂😂

Sounds like a good solution to the problem! A heat gun might help too to try and push the arch further up so to speak
