Part number
Would someone with an 04-10 caddy be able to tell me the part number on the jack?
Trying to find a replacement but most are turning out to be from completely different vag cars and its not clear how compatible they are if at all.
Thanks

Re: Part number
Sorry they haven't come out too well and might not be much help,
The yellow sticker one is the 07, the other my 16.
The number on either isn't great but you might be able to identify it to the numbers you're seeing online,
They are date stamped,
One on bottom is 07 but both the same,

Number worn off quite well on 07 but more intact on 16,

Both date stamped,

Best I can do for numbers, can't find the numbers actually stamped anywhere.

Re: Part number
Thanks for posting those photos scooby.
Much appreciated.
Thought i had found a replacment on ebay here
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164838028777
But got the part no off the seller and its off a skoda roomster, the bit that goes under the lip looks different to your two though

Re: Part number
A scissor jack is a scissor jack to be fair. The slot isn't an exact fit nor should it be, it's the depth that's important.
The first reasonable looking one ive found on a quick search is this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333961174078 ... SwTCBgeFz2
Ask the guy the depth of the slot, I'll measure mine in a bit for you.
Looking at the label it seems to have the same load rating.
Alternatively breakers will be full of them, print out the pics and just go find one that looks simular with the same load rating and slot depth.

Re: Part number
Sorry been so busy will try and get that measurement tonight, I don't have the tool kit, I've got the wrench and screw driver for the 07 but don't think that's everything. The 16 just came with the jack.
The screwdriver is a black handle and the shaft can pull out and be turned around and put back in giving you an option of flat or cross head, the wrench is just a solid 90' one with socket on one end.
My t4 synco had a nylon pouch that only had the screwdriver, wrench and Jack but I think I read the caddy came with a couple other additional bits like tyre gauge etc?
I'll try to remember to get that slot depth size when I get in.
Edit, sorry just realised you wasn't asking me

Part number
Toolkit from my ‘10 plate, pre-facelift van
Jack - 2K0 011 031 B - no part number on the jack retaining screw
Wheel key - 4D0 012 219 A - common part across VAG
Screwdriver - 191 012 287 - common part across VAG
Towing eye - 1T0 805 615A - common part across VAG
Holder - 2K0 012 113C - slots in above the cabin shelf on the passenger side (left)
Locking wheel nut key - mine
There is an alternative toolkit holder that fits around the jack in the back of the van, seen one, don’t know the part numbers.
I pulled this kit together from various VW cars when salvaging parts, cheap as chips!
