Thanks mate, it’s getting there, it hasn’t moved from the day I bought it 2 years ago! Slowly ticking off the jobs to get it road worthy once I’ve finished this house renovation!

For sound deadening I used to flashband I had lying around from the previous owner when I originally bought my house can’t comment on the difference it makes as I said I haven’t driven the van!

Never knew that tip I’ll keep it in mind thanks mate!

What is the pet number for the longer clips to hold the panels or link please?

I was hoping the normal ones would work.

Iainh91 - cant actually remember but I think they’re from eBay I bought them a long time ago!

Finally ticked off all the mechanical jobs I’ve had sitting in the back of the van
2 x cv boots
2 x track rod ends
1 inner tie rod
Front & rear discs and pads
New drop links either side
Centre and rear section of the exhaust
Stance+ coilovers and dark side rear flip kit

Spoiler and wing mirrors are going in to paint next week so will soon be time for an MOT and having the beeping sorted out.

Haven’t touched the caddy for a while properly as I’ve got a 1972 beetle I’ve been tinkering with, but managed to get the spoiler and mirrors painted and some Audi 18s fitted. Failed the MOT miserably so bad some new bits to sort..

2 new rear callipers
2 handbrake cables
Steering rack boot

Just general daft things I missed so hopefully can go for another MOT soon.

also sorted the ABS fault. Grabbed a second hand module from eBay and it managed to solve the issue so all good now!

Picked up a touran bumper last week so can get both bumpers in for paint soon too
