@robblowen do you have any pics of how your rear seatbelts are fitted to the floor? I saw a mention earlier in the thread but if you have some images you could share?

@Pman1984 I haven't got any pics of the actual process but you can see the 2 red arrows there are to bumps on the floor the seat belt sits between these when fitted. I used some motor racing seat belt anchor points, I cut a slot where the yellow line is, slid the anchor point in, then fastened the seatbelt in place and welded the slot back up. You can see how the seat belt sits in the other pics. Hope that helps.

These were the kind of thing I used to mount all the seatbelts.

@Pman1984 I know what you mean mate, I was hoping for the same thing, spent ages looking into it, asking questions and searching online. It wasn't too big a job in the end. Hope it goes ok mate.

Nice one. Awning rail looks nice and subtle. Have you tried it out properly yet with an awning? Saw a nice one on a swb caddy when i was up North racing. Came back to see it all collapsed. luckily the poles didn't scratch the sh!t out the paint. Made me think twice about it now!

@kneecap cheers man, I'm really happy with it. No not tried it yet, I need to get one of the extension pieces. I think they're called kador strips to join the awning to the rail more easily. I'm using it with a vango kilda drive away awning which is strong enough on it's own, so I shouldn't suffer the same fate!!!

Hi there. Great build!! Really inspiring keep up the great work.
Just wondered if you had any links to the bulbs you have used for your headlights & DLR. I’m looking to upgrade mine but it’s hard to know which ones to go for. Any help will be appreciated

@Will.D cheers man, glad you like it. The headlight bulbs I went with are these

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H1-H4-H11-90 ... 635-2958-0

I tried some error free leds for the DRLs but they would operate at 2 levels so I've gone back to normal bulbs as I didn't want to be dazzling people with them. I'm still on the look out for leds that operate the same as standard 21/5w bulbs.

Thanks dude for your help. Will take a look at those bulbs. I know this is a daft question but I don’t suppose you know what bulb type our lights are? Never changed any so unsure what Fitment they are.

Keep up the good work and will keep up to date on your build for inspiration 🤘🏼

@Will.D mine are H4 for the headlights and 1157 for DRL, I'm not sure whether caddys can vary on bulb type across the range, it could be worth just having a look before you order any dude, they're dead easy to get to and check.

New wheels and all terrains fitted, went for 16s to allow for the extra tyre and Avon AX7 which get good reviews that I've seen. Really happy with the look and feel, although I've not done serious miles on them yet.

Hopefully get round to fitting the wheel arches and sump guard tomorrow then it'll be time to test it out!!!ImageImage

Finally got around to running in the foglight loom that I got from @tommyzooom also refitted the foglights I'd taken back out for the MOT.

Fitted a knock off auto headlight switch, I'd like to do the legit RLS upgrade but don't have the time/funds right now.

Finally fitted the new steel sump guard, added a few sheets of dodo hex mat, hoping it kills a bit more noise, helps the engine warm up now its dropping colder and provides some protection when I get round to testing out the all terrains!ImageImageImageImageImageImage

@robblowen I will do that! Cheers for the info! I keep having an intermittent DRL bulb out which seems to be a fault in the bulb carrier so over the weekend I’ll pop them all out and do some research 👌🏼

Also wheels and tyres are on point. Loving the all terrain look! Keep it up 👍🏼
