@antcaddy what edging did you use for the covers
Looks spot on mate.
Want to change mine from wood to perspex but maybe in a black finish.

Found out today that an ex BG caddy literally just has shit fired into it... Spent 20mins rewiring the parking sensors as the fitter just fired the cable into a hole and then discovered the towbar fitter was a complete hatchet worker! Obv wired the control module outside the car behind the light and realised it wouldn't push through the grommet hole... What was their solution rather than take 10 mins to rewire?? Ah just cut out the bridge between the 2 grommets and beat the panel a bit to push box back in... Like really! Not even sealed the hole or anything ffs.... Rant over for the eveningImageImageImage

@Pepsi thanks mate. If you Google door edge protector trim that's the stuff I used. Just make sure you get one which will accommodate 4mm as alot don't

I've come across better DIY installs, at least the DIYer usually takes more care not to chop bits out of their own car...

Found this cute little leak from haldex. Some folks were saying 4motion is gonna cost me but I didn't expect it to be that soon. Might be easy fix.

Is that leak the gasket for the haldex pump?

Yes, it is coming from the pump gasket

When I serviced the haldex oil on my rs3, one of the other jobs is to undo the two bolts that hold this pump onto the unit.
Quite a simple process and I'm sure the gasket is easy to replace.
Whilst out it may be worth cleaning the gauze filter within the pump as these are prone to block up on the golf and s3 platforms for some reason but not on my cars platform.

I know this is a little random and apologies if in the wrong section, but anyone fitted/swapped out a dash from the 2016> into a <2015.

Rather than fitting the Touran dash (which we don't have in Western Australia, or anywhere is AUS) would it be possible to swap out the dash + door cards from a 2016> into my 2014 Caddy Maxi.

@ Robblowen.

Cheers for the link. Greatly appreciated, but looks like the the poster never got back with what changes were needed and post was never completed.

Anyone else done this conversion that could elaborate on the link below.
