2016 Caddy Maxi sliding door step plate fasteners

Could someone tell me how to find parts for Caddy’s in general please? Aside from Google searching. That’s more difficult when you don’t know the name of things and can’t see what they look like because half of them is inside a hole

When I took the side door step moulding up a few of these are torn or missing. I’ve tried to take one out but they won’t budge and I just end up damaging them.

What are these called? I’ve searched for every combination of vw caddy side sliding door step plate retainer clip moulding grommet but having no luck. They’re about 18mm wide with a 6mm hole. Made of plastic.

Does VW have an online parts site I can search for things like this based on their location in the van?

You need to select YEAR > Body > section-name

also those look like pop rivets. so single use and you have to drill them out

These are actually a hard rubber grommet. I know a pop rivet when I see one now as I had to drill the ones I had out! These grommets must have a lip to stop them becoming loose. I think I found the parts thanks to the link in the previous post.
