I'm looking to wire 6 led lights I got of eBay by tapping into original light about loading bay door.
I have a black wire and a red wire coming from the led lights. What wires on the original do I tap into blue,brown,red?
I want it to work just as the original does when doors are open I do not require a further switch
Thanks
Led rear roof lighting wiring?

Red = +12V
Brown = Permanent GND
Blue = Switched GND, i.e. ground supplied when the door is open

So red to red
Black to blue
Would that be right?

Re: Led rear roof lighting wiring?
That will work, assuming the red is positive and black is negative on your LED lights.
Also, check the wattage/current rating of your LED lights. Make sure you're not overloading the circuit.

Do you know what lights to go for i am looking to do this same thing in the back of mine,
i was wondering what would be better L.E.D strips or drop lights,
Are there any pictures of mods you guys have made?

Rear of caddy is very dark, good idea to add some lights! I will do that too.
