Hi there
We're stuck with our caddy at the shop needing a 055131503H valve. Looks like VW stopped making them in 2004 and we can't find a used part. Does anyone have any leads, advice, alternatives or just a small stick to poke me in the eye!!!

Is that an EGR valve?
What year is your caddy?
Which engine is in your caddy?
1.9 BJB or 2.0 BDJ BST or 1.9/2.0 BLS, BSU, BMM? Or perhaps its an older engine.
Are you 100% sure thats the right part number as I'm not finding it on the parts database.

Says its an egr valve from a USA version of the rabbit or pickup, 1979-1984 with no replacement part superseding it.
I think its a case of ringing round breakers yards and seeing if they haveca vehicle in their inventory.
The other alternative is to remove and blank it off then retune it.

Ah, that would explain why I can't find it on the parts database!
If its a Caddy built before 2003 then this forum isn't going to be much use I'm afraid. Plus if you're not in Europe/UK then my parts database isn't going to help much either.
