Re: A Good Caddy
Hi fishynos72, very nice. Yes am getting a module, I am not sure where it is coming from, my friend is taking care of it for me. He got one last week and he has the heating working now.
Hi Boosted_monkey, thank you. To get the MFSW working with all the controls you need a special module installed that connects to the Steering Wheel Control Module.

Re: A Good Caddy
Let us know how you go.
Always good to have options.
Mine's heated, I'm thinking I'll make use of a modern passat clockspring to support the heated aspect,
controlling it all depends on the aftermarket module I guess.

Re: A Good Caddy
Have the new MK8R steering wheel install temporarily as I have sold my old steering wheel including SWCM and Spacewalker module. No power or functions to the steering wheel yet but . Ill take off the DSG paddles soon, just wondering how it would look, hopefully get to put them back on next year.

Re: A Good Caddy
Carbon Charcoal dash vent trims and OEM gloss black AC/ Radio trim installed. I refinished the plastic piller trims also with a custom color to match the dash.

Thank you for having a read and your comments. I am hoping to get a new windshield for Christmas, I have already bought a driver assist camera and RLS sensor.

One of the nicest, if not nicest oem builds I've seen buddy.
You mentioned the use of your dsg paddles on your new wheel, in coming dsg gearbox I presume

Have the mirrors coded to close when I long press the lock button on the key fob. They open out when the key is in theignition.

Re: A Good Caddy
Beautiful Caddy!
Thank you for sharing mods and references of parts that will avoid some long searches on the net! I have a question about your suspensions. I currently have an Eibach Prokit that is perfect comfort level (with 225/40/18) but does not lower enormously. I'm thinking of switching to Eibach Sportline -60mm or coilovers (because I'm afraid that the -60mm of the Sportline is not enough). I would like to know how comfortable the SportLine -60mm was compared to the Prokit -40mm? Do we lose a lot of comfort or is it still pleasant to ride? Because the roads in my home are bad in general!... And does a big belittling via coilovers get really hard? I ask you because you started with the same suspensions as me and your evolutions are the ones I am considering so here it is!... Sorry for this long message in English that will be readable I hope!! lol
