When you say heating upgrade do you mean a factory style PTC heater install?

Or conversion from mechanical climate to duel zone digital climate?

To convert from cable driven climate to that single zone electronic climate will still require a heater box change,

I would suggest for a very similar amount of effort you consider a full duel zone cliamatronic swap, as both require replacement heater boxes and custom retrofit looms.

so going Mk3 pre facelift to Mk3 facelift?

It requires nearly the same amount of parts as a mk3 pre facelift to mk4 conversion.

Front guards, guard brackets lower and upper (part of the chassis outrigger), front radiator support panel, reo bar and foam, 2 headlights, bonnet, possible bonnet cable latch and hinges. Depending on the radiator/condenser your vehicle is running you may have to clearance the radiator support panel to fit the earlier condenser in.

I would suggest trying to find a wrecking yard breaking a mk3 facelift with a damaged rear- this will give you the change to see everything installed in situ.

I'm looking in Aus to find a decent suspension kit for the caddy! It needs to be tough enough to tow a heavy trailer behind. But I also want it lower to make it look aesthetically pleasing. What have you guys used on yours? And if you have can you post a pic thanks

Morning folks,

Apologies to admin if this isn't permitted.
But I figure I'd post here to keep it local.

I've some leftover caddy trims I need to move, its 90% a lower trim black conversion. Doesn't include the floor covering and possibly a few small items, but it's centre console, door cards and both sill trims front and rear.

This sort of stuff- I have black and grey also

Image

I do have a set of grey rubber floor covering

I also have a set of 8V audi A3 vents with 3d printed adaptors to suit mk3 dash to sell.. These owe me $300.

And finally a mk3 radiator support panel- only a years worth of use before I fitted a mk4 front end. Bought it new, seems a waste to throw it.

All items are located Melbourne Vic.

I'm looking at Titan suspension for the caddy as It means I don't have to spend on shipping to Australia. Has anyone heard anything about these? I just want some improvement on handling.Image

Hey Ryzar, where did you purchase these from? Did you find a distributor in Aus that you didn't have to pay shipping?
