Hi,
I've booked my Mk3 ex BG Caddy in to have a Witter towbar fitted (for a Westfalia bike rack).
Does anyone have any info if the wiring can be done externally or does the fitter need access to the wiring loom in the vehicle.
The problem is I've screwed down a bed platform on one side and a cupboard unit on the other side, both covering the recesses where the wiring is fed to the read lights etc. and removing these will be a right pain!
Do I have to strip the van back for them to get to the wiring?
Thanks

Re: Witter towbar fitting on my ex BG Caddy
I had a towbar with the ‘genuine’ wiring fitted, and the guy needed access to the panel just above the rear driver’s side wheel arch to get at the wiring and fit the module.
