This is my caddy maxi 1.6 tdi
Ex British Gas van
Was going to be keeping this as it was and then selling it for a newer version and then modifying that.
Throwing a spanner in the works the 1.6tdi went pop just before Xmas typically.
So 2.0 tfsi conversion and just turn this into the van I want seems like the best idea

Full Audi service history since new and 83k on the clock

Cam chain changed on the Audi, going to get the rest of the servicing stuff done and new pcv system and pipes.

Look to getting the swap done towards the end of the month

Update - Caddy has been booked with Andy Bloxham for the TFSI conversion

Induction kit bought and fitted to the Audi as the air filter was in pieces and can be swapped over to the caddy

HPFP - cam lobe, seals and bolts changed over

New metal Y pipe fitted as well as I broke the old one

Cambelt, water pump and oil pick up and couple of other bits still to be done before the swap.

Undecided on wheels yet, any thoughts on a hard wearing, good looking set of wheels?
I’ve got a habit of bending them lol

New clutch and flywheel will be going in when the engine gets swapped out

Engine dropped out the caddy just to get the useable parts left out and clear a bit of room, full leather black heated seats swapped into the caddy van, steering wheel probably going go in there too, conversion booked in next month

Conversion all done courtesy of Andy at overboost, brilliant work from Andy who was superb and bent over backwards to get everything done for me.
Anyone wanting a conversion done he’s the man to speak to, jumped in it straight after it had been done and smashed the 190 mile journey home

New wheels and suspension to be fitted in the next 2 weeks.

Spent all day building new racking for the tools to keep them on B roads

Colour code the bumpers next and then stage 2 I think
