Fml just has the alternator go today in 39 degree day, had the starter motor go similar day 3 weeks ago I’m pretty sure over the last 3 years everything has been replaced bit by bit

G'day all. Another from down under here. Adelaide to be precise.
Bought my 2011 SWB last July and am hooked. Currently have swapped seats for Polo GTI, Golf MK6 GTI flat bottomed wheel and have 19" Spielbergs on. So much more still to do, but that will happen in time.

Nice one MrMorbid.
I’m in Adelaide as well. Busy printing parts for my Caddy at the moment… when you can’t source what you want… design and build it!

Cheers AusCad,
I reckon it was possibly your Caddy that I was going to buy last year from a guy down Royal Park way if memory serves, but I was too slow.
What parts are you making for yours?

Yep I'm in Brisbane too, just moved back from Canberra a couple of months ago.

I find eBay to be quite good for parts from Latvia and other European countries to be well priced.

Saw your thread on your build
Can't wait to see some updated pics
Hopefully quality control has given it a paws up 😺

Oh how I'd love a hybrid rear bumper, but the shipping cost is insane.

Yeah I need to update my build thread here with more pics actually. I've had a slight pause whilst moving back up here, but hopefully will continue to finish it. I'm also thinking of redoing some things like the roof rack but we'll see.

Yes my little quality inspector has given the tick of approval, in fact anytime I have the caddy door open she loves to hop up inside to sleep!

Yep I hear you! I never have enough time to get everything done.

BTW I've done a massive update to my build thread starting from here https://www.caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic ... 37#p438337
