Classic race bike transporter

Post by Daggles888 »

Hi all.
I have been looking around for a vehicle to transport my classic race bike. I don’t have room to store a trailer so needed something that could be also be used as a daily driver. I have loved the look of the caddy for a long time but didn’t think it would be big enough to take a motorbike. I grabbed my tape measure and was pleasantly surprised to find 10 mm spare. I purchased a 2014 and bought it home. First step was to put the bike in and see what was needed to fit a wheel brace.

Once we were all loaded up the fit was snug. Had to cut out the rear of the drink holder so the front wheel rested in the drinks holder. Motorbike wheel holder bolted in and we are all good to start some rear lining. Want to make it a bit more luxurious.
