Long story short think I’m gonna buy a 2012 van to replace my 2005
There’s a few things I’d like to keep but I’m not sure if they swap straight over.
My Touran door cards, dashboard, double din headunit and speakers.
Are these all the same across mk2/mk3?
Thanks all

Re: Mk2 vs mk3 compatibility
2005 and 2012 Caddy are both mk3, the 2012 being a facelift model.
Essentially, all is the same bar some changes to the front end and some different wiring/modules.

2005 and 2012 dash will be the same, unless you mean Touran dash? (which will swap over)

Re: Mk2 vs mk3 compatibility
If you are going to the lengths of converting the dash and door cards would it be better looking at mk4 parts? Bring it more up to date and sell the 05 as it is?

Re: Mk2 vs mk3 compatibility
Thanks guys. I thought this was the case
My current van has Touran dashboard and door cards. New van has standard Caddy stuff.
Not 100% decided yet but might swap them over as I like having a proper glovebox and they’re a lot nicer looking.
Got Touran Center console too which I need to swap over as I love having the arm rest

Re: Mk2 vs mk3 compatibility
Are all touran dashboards the same up til 2012? More specifically will they all fit a mk3 caddy (2010-2015).
I’m seeing listing for 2012 complete touran dashboards listed as 1t version. Is this the version and only version that fits?

Re: Mk2 vs mk3 compatibility
The 1T Touran ran from 2003-2015 with three different revisions, the dashboard from any of these will fit a 2004-2015 caddy without modification.
