Them calipers look really nice 👌as you say it's a pity you can't get them fitted before tatton which is just over a week away 👍

Van looks absolutely lovely!

Can i ask where/how you wired the 12v sockets into? Did you choose a constant live feed or an ignition live?

Cheers!

Thank you. I've added an extra circuit to a fuse box under the steering wheel. There are some empty slots to chose from. Mine is wired to a permanent 12V.
This 'how to' will give you a lot of details https://www.caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33096.

Only took me a year to get back to this ImageImageImage

Weld-on saddles from Retrofication welded to the axle and then the axle was powder coated.

RacingLine stud conversion done.

And finally fitted my not so big brake kit front and rear.

Lovely set up, and installed for Tatton Park this year. Did you use the Locktight on the studs?

Thanks lads. Yes, I've used the Loctite.
Unfortunately won't be able to attend the Tatton Park show this year, as will be working abroad...

Hi Giddy, I recently purchased the retrofication weld on saddle kit.

How do you find the setup up now over the shackle kit?

I went like you fully poly bush on the rears.
Maxi rear arb etc.

At the moment the rear axel sway is almost eliminated. Mine is set up on the highest setting mind you for practicality.

Do you have a side on shot of the rear wheels please and how they sit in the wheel arches buddy?

Thanks Dan

Hi Dan. I think Retrofication saddles add some height, around 5mm or so. I haven't measured the height before and after, but visually it looks a tiny bit higher to me than it was before with bolt-on kit. Not a problem, will readjust the hangers by one hole.
The wheels sit bang on in the middle. The reason for that is I've made a custom plates with 10mm offset to clamp the axle to the leaf springs. Mk4 leaf springs are slightly different to the previous generation with the dowel pin at the bottom, so I needed a custom plates regardless.
