Sliding door stuck locked, central console indicate it's open

I have a VW caddy maxi 2019 with one of the sliding door that seems to be stuck in locked position with the following:
- I can push down the locking mechanism, it will pop up normally with the key button, or if I try to open the door from the inside
- When I try to open the door from the inside or outside, the handle is blocked half way through.
- The console indicates that this sliding door is open at all time (even if I push down the locking mechanism)

Answering my own question:
Got the caddy to VW, they removed the sliding door handle and lubricated. It's working fine now, and if it happens again they will change the door lock control unit.
