Now on my bls engine it's different and just wondered if the part circled is the same thing and can I pull the pipe off just the same as in this video and map it out using vcds?

What's this part on egr
On another engine I've seen something similar on top of the egr valve. On YouTube someone has done a cheap egr delete by pulling out one of the pipes to it and blocked it off https://youtu.be/cBuJlNPh_xY
Now on my bls engine it's different and just wondered if the part circled is the same thing and can I pull the pipe off just the same as in this video and map it out using vcds?

That's the VNT actuator for your turbo.
