Jealous of your woodworking skills on this - awesome build mate!

I think I'll be making a bed/storage from scratch for my new one but not looking forward to it

A lot of tea and sausage rolls were needed to get through the furniture build!

My woodworking skills are basic to say the least, but I found the Trend pocket joinery jig an absolute lifesaver for making neat and solid joints Image

Love the well thought out simplicity of your build.

Question - what kind of fridge are you running?

Looks great! What ground point did you use for the dash cam?

Thanks guys

The dashcam is grounded just above the fuse board (behind the dash panel with the headlight switch). There are several options in there, I used one of the bolts that holds the dash assembly to the van body.

Haven’t updated this in a while, but haven’t really made any changes to the camper set up: think it’s pretty much spot on for our use now.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on Caddy2K for their contributions to the forum that helped my build Image

I did recently fit a shark fin antenna for the radio and GPS - reception is loads better then the wing mirror one!

Thought I’d add some photos as we’re just back from a week around the Skye and the West Highlands with the Caddy. The van was absolutely faultless and made light work of some challenging roads that proved embarrassing for some larger/hired vans and motor homes!

First night in Glen Nevis after the 10hr drive up and ahead of climbing Ben Nevis:Image

On the A830 Road to the Isles between the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Morar:Image

A very windy campsite at Camusdarach forced us to move curry night inside:Image

Taking in the views on the way to Mallaig to catch the ferry to Skye:Image

Parked up for lunch and a walk around Glen Brittle, Isle of Skye:Image

Cooking up a storm on Skye:Image

And finally, an early night and Netflix in Glencoe ahead of the long drive home:Image

It’s the county flag of Wiltshire Image
