New LCD screen and digitizer installed in my MIB2 head unit, it was playing up selecting options on its own and and the right hand side of the touch screen was not responsive. Everything back to normal now with the new screen.

Nice work :D
Complete screen units are quite expensive.
I use specific type of digitalisers (not too expensive).
I don't remove the faulty one and I attach replacement unit with a UV adhesive/glue.
Final result is like a factory OEM.

Hi Robert,

I did buy a digitizer and was going to go that route but in the end I folded and got the LCD screen just because it was a neater job and I have OCD issues . Your more than welcome to have the digitizer if we ever have a chance to meet in person. I'm on the T6 Form trying to get custom pictures of my van on the MIB unit :D

Perfect, thanks.

Okay, let's rock and roll 8)

Take a close up photo of each menu entry with a vehicle picture that you would like to get replaced with your own van.
I would consider: VEHICLE STATUS, TYRE PRESSURE LOSS INDICATOR, DRIVING DATA, SAT-NAV COMPASS, etc.

Next, take a nice photographs of your van in exactly same stance. For example: RHS side profile, back, front left corner and so on. You can refer to my demo YT video. Best photo results are achieved if you park your van on a concrete or tamac pavement with consistent background.

Put the SD card(the same one you have used for installing Toolbox- literally with the same content) in one of your slots.

Go in to your Toolbox menu and select DUMP and then select GRAPHIC FILES (SKINS).
This will download all skin packages from your DM to your SD card. IMAGES.MCF for SKIN0 is your desired file.

Next step is to prepare your photos by cutting out the bare vehicle out of original photos and leaving background transparent. You should do this yourself but if you can't I can help.

And then send me all of these photos and your IMAGES.MCF file and I will do the swap over for you.

Following step will be the upload of modified IMAGES.MCF file back to your DM.

Obviously last stage will be enjoyment and a lot of showing off :D

Hiya Robert
The love you share was massive hence why I could feel it from here
I hope Buster is awake, I'm just driving past his place, I'll toot, shout out, say hi & wave....... 👋
Geographically speaking, Perth is 4,336km from me
Perth is 4½x the total length of England 🚗
Or as a different perspective, ⅓ of the flight from London to me 🌏
But if I see him, sure
Crack me up, Australia is such a big place 😆

I couldn't get the USB Hub to work, think it was the cables I ordered from Ali Express that were the issue. So made some up myself.
