I have an RNS315 head unit that’s currently running Western Europe V7 maps. It would appear, after doing a bit of Googling, that the latest map update is V12. Unfortunately the same session of googling found lots of posts saying that there’s a problem with everything after V9 and if you try to load them you just get an error message.
Can anyone tell me (preferably before I blow close to £100) how I go about updating my system? Can I load V12, do I need to find a copy at V9?? Any help would be very gratefully accepted.

I didn’t get a response so I’ve taken a punt and ordered the updated maps, I’ll report back if there are any issues.
