New to me 2016 Caddy Highline 1.6 TDI 75BHP
Just joined the forum recently and enjoyed seeing all the posts, which has led to my to do list growing a little...well a lot! Trying to keep it sensible to start with to make a quieter, more comfortable van for driving around the country in. Then will add some more luxuries as time goes on.

Bought this from a kitchen fitting firm where it had a typical workvan life and a few issues which I'm planning on working through. Planning on using it for work myself and for transporting bikes/canoe and weekend trips.
My lengthy to-do list so far:
Deep clean of cab
Touch up untreated stone chips
Respray rear bumper
Machine polish to remove signs of previous sign-writing
Repair torn seat stitching/possibly replace seats
Refurbish/retrim steering wheel as leather worn
Carpet and insulate rear
Add wind deflectors...and that should be a good start!

The inside is quite dirty as you would expect from a work van, plasterboard and paint on the seats, steering wheel and footwell needing a deep clean!

Driver's seat stitching has split along the seam, not sure if this is a common issue on the original caddy seats, has anyone experienced this before?
Hoping local auto trimmers will be able to fix and then I'll decide whether I'm keeping the seats or whether I'll swap them out for something from a Golf or Passat.

This is the existing head unit, was pleased that it supported bluetooth and happy with how the UI works but lack of NAV leaves me wanting to upgrade it and found an RCD330 from www.rcd330.co.uk for a seemingly reasonable price. I haven't heard of anyone buying from this website before so hopefully what I ordered is what arrives. Ordered the wiring conversion add-on too so fingers crossed that it'll be an easy install. Will report back when it arrives and I get a chance to fit it.

Removing the factory head unit to make way for the RCD330. Was careful not to damage the fascia when removing as it is very thin at the bottom edge.
