Re: Family Van/ Build
Changed the dials over on the heater control panel, put back on the silver round ones.
Not sure if I used the right method or tools but it worked and didn’t damage the dials

Haha all of them come out pretty easy except one, had to put a bit more effort into it so I can see how you did that

Re: Family Van/ Build
QUICK UPDATE.
Caddy have been dropped off for some new rear seats/ rock and roll bed to be fitted.
Looking forward to what is going to come back with
Will be nice to have the van running nice and actually being practical for the family, what to concentrate on next?
I might smash out the rear end and make it all slick

Re: Family Van/ Build
Rear Seats/ rock and roll bed have been fitted, very delayed update haha.
Really happy with the outcome, a little bit of work to get them to fit comfortably with the rear wheel arches inside. 2 seats would of been a lot easier but I needed the 3. Because of this the bench actually sits above the wheel arch which as you can imagine doesn’t leave a whole lot of head room, no good for an adult unless you are very short. I did know this going into it and at the end of the day I have 3 young kids which have plenty of time to grow so I made the decision to go for it.

Re: Family Van/ Build
Photo dump from the last couple of weeks, not a massive amount done, got rear spot lights to work and fitted a small switch to control the permanent live. Also gave the van a good clean and polish on the outside and was surprised how nice it came up… it’s true you can polish a turd lol

From Today
I’m thinking about changing the grill, I would like the VW badge up at front
