Someone bumped into me..

Hey folks! Have a quick question... someone bumped into the back of me last night really slow, the bumper looks ok but I'm not sure if it's sprung in or not, underneath I see steel brackets that look bent out of shape possibly. Is this standard? Should these be straight? I was trying to find another underside picture of a caddy to compare but not having much success. Any help would be appreciated!
