Not really related to your build but I agree about the love and motorsport bit. I worked with Allan last year and this year in British GT so to lose him at Le Mans was gutting (given I was around 500 metres from where he crashed) and that the weekend before we were at Snett
I'll be doing the Ironman Wales 2014, if your Caddy could spare £1 it'll all be going to Macmillan Cancer Support. Thanks

awesome! i do the same thing with mine, mainly at santa pod (dont do too much of the cornering motorsport) and people look at me like im mad sleeping in the swb but theres plenty of room in there...
i made a mock up bed in the style you have but couldnt fit a bike in there without taking it all to pieces so i stuck with a bench down one side.
what awning is that?

It's a tough game at times Merill. Allan was a goodun, wasn't he? I met his bro at Sean's funeral, they just seem like really nice guys. Simmo was flipping quick too!Merill wrote:Not really related to your build but I agree about the love and motorsport bit. Darrell, the awning is just a Hi-Gear Mojave Tent Porch! Not sure whether i'll stick with it and adapt it, or find something more suitable. Worked well at the time though!

Chezzy, i have received you PM, but i can't reply! I am most grateful for your offer, thank you! If you want to email me instead, it's ngautoart@hotmail.co.uk .. I'm in Melton Mowbray, if that helps?
happy New Year!
Neil

Re: The Artvan build thread.
Hi, I’m just about to take on a similar build on a 5 seater maxi (my 1st attempt) and would love to see some pics of what you have done. Unfortunately I cant seem to see them on this thread. Is there any chance you could send me some? Would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
