Re: SWB Mk3 Pure Grey
Thank you very much! The colour is nice and doesn’t show the dings too much!
Had a good trip away for a few days and of course it was very cosy, the space definitely needs managing carefully to make it liveable

A few storage tweaks needed for next time out but otherwise very pleased. We have a driveaway awning in case of longer trips which will make things a lot easier.
Got the roof bars and roof box sorted which was essential so we weren’t moving stuff around in the van all the time.
Narrow roofbox so that I can get the surfboard alongside as we have a surf trip to Woolacombe planned for later this year.
Need to get the speakers sorted will check if I have access to the bit of the forum yet.
Also the insulation.
Def need some new seats too.
Etc

Is was just off amazon @stu_p
There are quite a few different ones available but this is one of the more comprehensive ones.
I think someone else on here had recommended it actually and it’s proved quite sturdy so far!

Re: SWB Mk3 Pure Grey
thanks for the update
looks serious
I am in Australia so I will try and find a local (or from Asia) supplier
shipping from the UK just kills it for us
thanks

Re: SWB Mk3 Pure Grey
Been mostly sound deadening and insulating with some new 4 way carpet in the back.
Got a couple of cheap mk6 golf seats off eBay and I’m really pleased with the black/dark grey cloth. Looks very smart now. And so so comfortable. Wish I’d done it ages ago. I already had touran bases in there from the previous seats so they just bolted straight in.
Sadly I thought the side lever was to fold flat the passenger seat same as on the old seat, as I do that when using it as a camper. It was however for the lumber adjustment. Never mind, will work around it somehow!
Pictures don’t really show the true colour they look black in real life. Will look good in there when all the trim is also black.

Re: SWB Mk3 Pure Grey
Bought a Bluetooth CarPlay dongle and a power bank with wireless charging and that is working nicely until I sort (well until I have cash for) a more elegant solution

Re: SWB Mk3 Pure Grey
Have the old grey seats that I need to get rid of. Free to a good home if you’re collecting from south Somerset
