I did a set of floating centres on my blue T6, looked decent, might do the same again.

They're the caps which come with the wheels from jbw dude. But yeh like a T6 but for the caddy wheels, mainly due to the size of the wheel nuts used to fit them. I have seen the oe caps used with different bolts tho so theres a couple of options available

Yeah they seem to be but we’ll see what a 3/4 hour drive does to my back! I only went for mk8 as the pass is isofix, if the mk7’s were I’d have 100% gone for them. The mk8’s look quite good I suppose and are a little different to most vans.

I’ve had a delivery today!

It looks pretty crap at the moment Image desperate for coilivers now!
I ended up giving the alloys to the chap that swapped the tyres for free torment, 2 had big dents and they were all damaged.

I got some centre caps with the wheels but they don’t fit, anyone else had this? It’s as if the wheels are too deep for the caps.

Iv got the standard caps on with my jbw wheels. I think u need longer heads on the wheel bolts for the big caps to fit on properly. I like the standard ones so im not fussed about getting the big caps on.

I’m going to go for standard Caddy ones I think, not a fan of the centre caps in these and they’re gloss black.

Done a few bits over the last couple of days, plumbed in the RCA adapter and wired in the underseat sub. I had a £250 Alpine unit in my T6 and I must say that this cheap £60 one is so much better!
I’ve been out this evening and replaced the bonnet release handle and fitted some mist windscreen washers as the jet ones are rubbish.
Finally, I’ve removed the interior panels in the back and started putting the sound deadening down.

This evening I will be ordering coilivers, carpet and getting onto my insurance about a cracked windscreen. I ordered an inlet mani gasket this week so when the coilivers arrive I’ll have a ‘maintenance day’ where I fit them, swap the cooler and do brake pads all round.

I asked ChapGPT to lower the van and this is what came back, it’s had a tower delete and now has barn door rear lights and a colour coded front bumper! My neighbours Superb estate is now some kind of Chevrolet/Vauxhall rubbish.

My hand slipped on the buy it now button on a steering wheel too. Wednesday Thursday next week are going to be busy…. Charge cooler, pads all round, coilivers and a steering wheel. The van will be complete then minus carpeting the rear and a rail cover.

Got the coilivers fitted. Wound the fronts all the way down at a guess and ended up perfect for me. I didn’t bother fitting the rear hangers, just flipped the axle and used originals, again, perfect for me!

It’s desperate now for some centre caps but I will not pay £50 for some Caddy ones Image. Might play with some spacers too but really I think I’ll end up getting the rears banded by an inch.

After actually looking into the coolant leak it appears I am in need of a new rad not the charge cooler.

Windscreen has been replaced and steering wheel arrived so I’ll get that fitted! I’ll post some better pics once it’s clean and I have some centre caps.
