Front seats heated

Hi

I’m looking to swap out my front seats for mk7 gti heated front seats I no u can buy touran bases to fit on or drill straight into caddy bases but does this affect the seat height and what size drill required ?

Yes, touran bases make them slightly higher.

Once I’ve purchased the front seats I’m going to need to get the rear bench seat re trimmed to match does anyone no a good place to go for this fairly local to derby ?

Found somewhere local to re trim the rear seat and the end of the month

Also installed everything required for heated seats with the help from midlandscoding and the wiring loom from Stan the man

Purchased a 2008 touran heater/ac/ heated seat unit which went straight in and kept it oem

Used Stan the man’s wiring loom

And midlandscoding helped install and code in

So now have fully working mk7 heated gti seats ready for winter

Does the airbags work without error codes with that wiring loom ?

I didn’t have airbags in the seats prior so I don’t have it wired for these seats

Hi, I've done a similar thing in purchasing MK7 GTD heated seats, how much did the custom loom cost you just out of curiosity? Cheers

£145 for module and loom

Hey guys

How can I get a loom from Stan the man ?

I have 2019 Caddy maxi startline and some Touran heated seats and a climate control unit as well but need the loom
