MK4 Caddy Xenon main beam issue

Recently installed bi xenon headlights on my mk4 caddy, all works as it should however after using main beam for a long time the passenger side shutter sticks open rather than returning to the low beam position. Sometimes flashing the main beam unsticks it and closes to correct low beam position but sometimes it sticks open.

Stalk is working as it should solenoid has been checked and solenoid output test carried out opens and deenergises accordingly.

Anyone had this issue previously and found a fix guessing somethings just sticking on the mechanism that activates the shutter itself?
