Fan type washer jets
Just fitted the fan type jets to my caddy 4 instead of the 3 individual spray type ones. I find the fan ones are hitting quite low on the windscreen.
Can anything be done with this?

There is a screw accessible from the outside to adjust them

Where abouts did you purchase the fan type? Are they OEM if so do you have the part numbers?
Thanks

Re: Fan type washer jets
Are the heated fan jets plug and play or do they require coding in?

Wired back to the fuse box, live when ignition on, no coding.

@papabear. Thanks for that. Wouldn’t mind the heated. We have those type on the Volvo and they work brilliant during the winter.

I’m unable to open that guide. Does it contain PN for genuine fan type heated jets?
Did OP sort the Low jets?

I can’t seem to access this yet. Is it just switched power, or pinned to the BCM?Caddyluv wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 10:18 am How to fit heated windscreen washers.

Thanks!
Heated fan washer is 5M0-955-986C
Heated triple jet is 2K5-955-987A left
2K5-955-988A Right
Lots of cars use the same PN

They get power from the bottom row of the fuse box, meaning they're always on with ignition on.

Re: Fan type washer jets
Fitted these now and like you say plugged into the back of the bottom row on the fusebox where there was a spare slot along the bus-bar
