Maxi Life headunit, camera and aerial upgrade

Hi - I'm after some help and advice please, I've owned my 2019 Maxi Life for a couple of years now and I really miss not having a reverse camera and decent DAB reception.

I just have the basic colour DAB+ system so there is no NAV nor a reversing camera but there is the park pilot with rear sensors which is basic to say the least!

I'd like to retain that OEM or go for an OEM+ look if possible but tbh open to suggestions for a replacement headunit. I'm also after some suggestions on how the DAB reception can be improved as the current reception is awful at times and I believe this in part to the DAB aerial being in the right hand wing mirror. So what are my options here.

Also what are the options on a reverse camera, again I'd like to retain that OEM look. I have seen one aftermarket camera that was integrated into a replacement high level brake light that looked pretty good.

Now I must admit I know very little about car stereos, headunits, reverse cameras and all the associated cabling requirements etc and whether all this would just be plug and play. But I am a competent DIY'er and am comfortable taking this job on given guidance on what might be some good purchase options.

My OEM reverse camera is in number plate light plinth.

Ah ok thanks, and yours is a MK4 Maxi Life as well? If not I'm then wondering are there other OEM reverse cameras that are also compatible. The Maxi Life has a tailgate also btw.

Yes, you can get one in the upper tailgate brake light as well that is higher tbs

You can get them cheap on aliexpress, mine is working for a year now. Looks like OEM and works with MIB2
