Re: Bi xenon coding help
Read the new members thread at the top of this section, it tells you there but that thread isn't taking new applications, as the owner has gone AWOL so no one has been approved for over a year. Likely you won't get approved anytime soon. Lots of us in the same boat. I joined January this year, post count over 600 now, still not approved / allowed out of the general chat area.
2015 SWB Van, 1.6 CR TDI with Cruise Control, Heated Mirrors, Highline Clocks & MFD, VW Hands Free Bluetooth, Electric Windows, Reversing Cameras, DPF Monitor, Thatcham Cat 2.

Coding
Doc
Thanks to forum user @RKDesigns.
You must change long coding in your caddy BCM to enable operation with the Xenon headlights and modules.
Byte 14 check bit 3 Bi-xenon headlights (with shutters) installed
Byte 15 check bit 3 Daytime running lights (DRLs) inactive with turn signals
Byte 15 check bit 6 Daytime running lights (DRL) via separate lights active (This could already be checked)
Byte 17 check bit 2 Bi-xenon with additional high beams
Byte 18 code this to C2 (This is the light config for the new caddy and not in the dropdown list)
Byte 19 bit 4-7 to 00 Turn taillight dimming off if this is not already (Else you get flickering DRL's when the engine is turned on).
Byte 21 uncheck bit 1 (This one is hidden! Original code 6F, now 6D. This bit must be off, else your DRL are not on when the xenon turns on).
Byte 25 check bit 2 High beams with shutters active/installed
From Sero62's post HERE
Byte 24 bit 7 "Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) as position lights active" should be checked for a full brightness DRL.
When I helped forum user @Winst code his lights on his 2C model caddy which he has now facelifted to the Caddy4 front end, I used Byte 18 code 74.
This was on a 5K0-937-087AC BCM and may differ for yours. </quote]
