Evening all, I got the call wednesday morning to say that my Caddy is finally ready to collect!

So off we went to get the beast! Walking up to the showroom, I saw it in there waiting for me...could not wait to get it home, then, the wife spots a stone chip on the front bumper!

Not happy! Then on a closer look around, I noticed that the Sportline front spoiler was not stuck on correctly and had a gap around it and also that VW had dammaged the front bumper when the spoiler was fitted!!

So after a bit of shouting, I have got to take it back in and get a new front bumper and spoiler... but to top off the bad news, we descovered that they had not polished the van and had just wiped it over with a wet cloth, leaving transport wax and grime all over it.

So that will get done as well at the same time.
But in the mean time, here are a couple of pics I took today just before it got dark.

Thanks Doc, The modding with hopfully start tommorow weather permitting and also depends if the Skyline on the drive will start as I have not used it for a few weeks now so the battery is almost dead

Aren't you missing some chrome teeth??

Where the black bit is I though you get chrome teeth right there to break it up a bit.

the part is definately available from VW because I priced up the Sportline frontend. Maybe look at the spec sheet because I'd imagine spotlights should be there as well.

For Sportlines they import the vans stock into England and then a company carries out the Sportline conversion. Give them and your dealer hell! I would!

Also the sportline comes with front fogs as standard - by the look of your pic I dont see the fogs. pic is a bit out of focus. I wouldnt be happy if this is the case.
