Thank you.

Should look a little better with the panel gaps, dints and paint sorted.

Wont want to use it when it's all shiny

Ever do something that makes no sense?

I swear they followed me home.

To sort the fit, I really need a set of 4 fronts. that half an inch width and the 1/4 inch less poke make a big difference.

So the biggest problem is the showball effect-

1) buy another set of these wheels to get another 2 front rims

2) buy 19" tyres of a good brand to suit the van $$$$

3) ruin the practical aspect of the vehicle by fitting a lower profile tyre yet again

4) realistically the ride height needs to change ruining further main practical purpose of owning the van.

I paid very little for the wheels. But the cost to get them onto the van may outweigh that.

Very torn and conflicted about all this at the moment. I need to somehow make a tonne of money to pay for a Plus automotive air-ride setup.

You've come this far now it's all downhill and very expensive haha

Why don't you put in a set of mk5 GTI struts in the front and an axle relocation kit for the rear to bring it down a bit, that way it's adjustable and a cheap way to lower it without killing the ride.

I'm very well aware of the slippery slope that is modifying Volkswagens, Hence i never have any money.

There's a very used caddy lowering kit, with some sort of china spec coil-over front setup near me.

Issue is, I already have low cars. I would have happily slammed the caddy the day I bought it.

The issue is ,I need a car I can swan over speed humps in, and still make it up driveways and dirt roads.

Hello, I installed the rear bumper today, fits perfectly, the only problem is that my original PDC wiring harness for the new bumper is too short because the sensors are rotated differently. I will extend the wiring harness because the newer wiring harness does not have the same connector to the control unit and the control unit is not at the back but at the front. I would also upload a picture, but I haven't figured it out yet.

@Caddy1691
Excellent, easy enough to sort the wiring loom.

To upload an image, like any other tradditional format forum- you'll need to host the images online with a service- such as FLICKR.

Then take the HTML of the image place [IMG] at the front and copy the html after it then place [/IMIG] at the end and the image should display within your post as long as it is hosted at that HTML.

@Irish-si
Thank you, despite it mostly being a cleaning thread thus far, I hope it's not too dull.

ok, since I didn't have time right now, I'll just attach the link from another forum I'm active in, hope it works.
I've now also ordered a new wiring harness, looked under one of our caddies at work that day, the wiring harness looked longer, let's see if my original one has been replaced or we'll see.
