A mere 5 years of owning the Caddy to get to where it is now (most of which has been spent in workshops and so its only done a few thousand miles in that time - desperate to change that!).

Think I preferred it the way it was. At least you could take a ladder with you

Amazeballs transformation!

I often think I need a 2nd ‘normal’ caddy to use for ladders, tools and stuff!

I think i prefer how it was originally. Spent all that money on 'air' suspension when there was loads of air between the arches and them 14" steelies! You won't get there any quicker hehe! Enough jokes. It was amazing in it's early stage of 'done'. Now its just beyond. I think it's actually too good to use! A single stone chip will ruin your year! Just beautiful. Are you at Tatton this time?

Haha! I still love a standard Caddy and in a weird way I do look back to the beginning and I miss it slightly. I’m not around for Tatton which I’m really gutted about. Stone chips shouldn’t be an issue as I’ve had the front end covered in paint protection film.

Should have known you had that covered already hehe! Is the film noticeable? Did you just do the bumper or the bonnet as well?

What a great idea. I have about a billion and one stone chips been really luck to have found a great colour match it’s just the cutting back after.

The bonnet and bumper have been done and you wouldn't really notice it. The film has moved on to the point that I see lots of show vehicles with it on and the judges don't care as its so unnoticeable. Better than covering it in 'scene' tape before and after shows! I've had my Hilux completely covered and its already done its fair share of protecting the paint - the odd chip or scuff in the film but it should heal itself. I also really want to drive the Caddy without worrying too much and this will go a long way to reducing my stress levels!

Cool, thanks for the info mate. I have a bit of 'wrapping' experience so think i will give it a go. Spent a bit of time yesterday frantically poilishing away tar from the front end, sadly to notice it wasn't tar but stone chips! :(
