Yer this one goes to the intercooler.
I have an electric rack or two so might ditch the hydraulic setup.

Is that much of job fitting electric rack. From pics really doesn't look like there any room to manoeuvre with pipe so that might be your only option.

Looks like electric rack is going to be the favoured option, as after doing research it appears caddy turbo is opposite hand to bxe/bxc engine.

I have all the details on what I did if anyone wants a copy.
I took the decision to cut ecu plug rather than poking pins out of plug and swapping them over so I guess I did a bit more joining and soldering than I really needed to.
Wasnt tricky but depends on your skill level and understanding of modern car wiring and electrics.
Main differences are glow plug controller and vacuum control valve block (n75, etc).

Bought some Touran midline clocks with SKC code for installing into the van.
Will be nice to get the cruise indicator light, and the MFA computer, plus coolant temp gauge up and running.

Pretty impressive stuff! I'd poo my pants if I had all that 'spaghetti' I front of me! Keep up good work! Are you going to do anything re: engines performance?

Thanks.
No performance mods yet.......just going to get the thing running first
Fired up tonight but found ecu immobiliser cut in so sending that off tomorrow to a more reliable guy.
Looks like EDC16 ecus need to be opened up and the eprom worked on directly not via obd port.
I am thinking of gutting cat converter to help turbo spool.

Lots done today.
Resigned myself to swapping entire subframe, steering rack, hubs, struts, roll bar, brakes, and driveshafts off the Altea, to give the Caddy the full upgrade.
I was going to just do the brakes.....but caddy hubs have caliper carriers built in....so then got a hub ready to swap then find strut legs are smaller diameter on Caddy....so decided to just do the whole swap!
The SDi exhaust is slightly smaller diameter so have chopped the TDi downpipe a little shorter and welded a bit of the SDi downpipe to allow the slip joint to work.
It will have to do for now until I can get a full TDi system at reasonable cost.
Got the ECU back from my guy and that runs just fine now....happy days!!

The finished installation....just waiting for a new auxiliary belt to arrive so I can remove aircon pump.
The new belt is one for an SDi pre-06, and non-aircon (ie one with electric steering rack not hydraulic).
6-Rib, 948mm. (6PK0948).
I had to find a home for the vacuum control valve block...so had to fab up a bracket using double layer of perf. strip.
More jobs and tweaks..........
New light switch (Audi A3)....Autolights 'ready'
Touareg 2010 Electric seats going onto redrilled Caddy H-frame bases.
The seats have a slightly wider mounting hole pattern than regular caddy/touran/etc seats.
Just got to wire into the fuse box permanently, and add the footwell lighting connections.....shame it's the rear footwell lighting though.
The seats have plenty of adjustment, and bolsters that squeeze inwards too.
There are storage boxes under the seats but these aren't as capacious as the Altea ones.
