technically it wont make it warmer but it will take it longer toto heat up and cooldown naturally inside (using aircon/heater will be more effective)

i was thinking more of the rolls like what they put on ducting than the foam sheets

yeah i know what you meant, if i was insulating a T5 with big flat surfaces i would probably use that but the Caddy has too many contours

Nice work I'm doing the same thing I'm looking at the battery's at the moment did you just put it behind the driver seat was it easy to get a cable from main battery to there?

No put it behind the passengers seat as it's closer to the starter battery and on that side there is a hole to feed the cable through

Any plans to build bed or is it purely a day van? Do you have a link to the insulation you used? I've used eco wool before but it's a bugger for holding moisture.

just picked up my new van and have been thinking about using the same bike mounting system.
I thave found these which looks a cheaper alternative. ( 20mm are avalible as well)
